un vrai hotel Parisien

My son and I have just returned from an epic train odyssey across Europe, staying on organic farm Spannocchia. My family holiday skills need honing, I have to say, as I could now do with another holiday to recover.

The best night of our 3 week holiday was spent at the Caron de Beaumarchais in the Marais, Paris. It is a great hotel. Expensive, but it evokes all the magic of Paris. For proof, have a look at the email I received from them.

Dear Mrs. Campbell,

We are pleased to tell you that we found your son's teddy bear in the room, but the taxi had just driven off.

Please advise us as to what to do, since we realise how important this might be to your son.

Yours sincerely,

La réception.

A sojourn in the past…
A perfect location in the heart of Paris, 2 steps from Notre-Dame, Picasso Museum and Place des Vosges, in its most fashionable area, the lively old Marais.
The hotel with its 19 charming rooms evokes a private house of the 18th century, in the time of Beaumarchais and Mozart.
